Southbay is located in Christchurch, New Zealand. It is the home base of the extended Southbay Border Terrier family.

Introducing:

“Allie” CH Barton Princess Alexandra AD JD
Allie is bred by Lyn Dunscombe. She was born in March 2002. Initially not intended as a show dog she nevertheless ended up having a brilliant show career and, based on show results, became New Zealand’s Border Terrier of the Year in 2005. Nowadays Allie competes in agility in Novice and in Intermediate classes. She has an AD title and a JD title.

“Sven” NZ CH Sub Terram Above Par
Sven was born in July 2008 in Sweden. He is bred by Ulrika and Roger Berge and arrived in New Zealand in February 2009. He attends shows and agility training. Sven has full dentition, he is 33 cm high and spans at 48 cm. His semen quality is rated as "Excellent" by Kirsten Wylie BVSc. Sven is available for stud to approved bitches. His six generation pedigree can be seen on Svenska Kennelklubben's Hunddata.

“Flo” CH Southbay Gorgeous
Daughter of Allie, Flo was born in November 2007. Flo attends breed shows regularly and competes in agility in Starters and Novice classes.












“Candy” CH Southbay Xmas Candy
Champion daughter of Allie, Candy and her brothers were delivered by Santa on Christmas Day 2005.

“Lexie” Southbay Glorious
Daughter of Allie and sister of Flo, Lexie lives on a lifestyle block in Invercargill and loves chasing bunnies.

“Meg” Southbay Radiant
Daughter of Allie and sister of Lexie, Meg leads a fabulous life with her family in Auckland. 









 

“Mungo” Southbay Xmas Gift
Son of Allie and brother of Candy, Mungo has a pretty comfortable existence…

Son of Allie and brother of Mungo, Dougal lives in Christchurch. 









 

“Snoopy”
Snoopy is the “Top Dog”. Snoopy popped in for a quick visit in October 1997 and decided to stay for good. He is of unknown pedigree.

“Milo” Shake Rattl'n Roll of Southbay
Son of Sven and Flo, Milo was born between aftershocks the day after the 7.1 Christchurch earthquake in September 2010. Milo shares his house with a wonderful family and two cats.
